JoJo was trying to recapture her childhood days’ watching sunsets at the East Coast Park.
JoJo was introduced to art during school-to-work lessons at Grace Orchard School, where she learned new skills despite facing a long history of seizures, extensive medication, and two brain surgeries that left her left side weak. With resilience and the help of regular therapy, she gradually adapted, learning to overcome her initial struggles and accomplish tasks using her right hand.
Driven by her dream to regain independent mobility and enjoy outings with friends, JoJo approaches every project with pride and patience, carefully choosing colors and designs. Her determination shines through her handmade creations, and seeing others enjoy her work brings her immense joy and fulfillment.
