Move with Me2: A Joyful Movement Journey with Rainbow Centre’s YAA Group

This term, Me2 Centre of Inclusive Arts had the pleasure of running our Move with Me2 programme with Rainbow Centre’s Young Adult Activities! (YAA!). Designed to be simple, rhythmic, and accessible, the sessions focused on helping participants build confidence, coordination, and body awareness through repetitive guided movement. Each week, our trainers introduced easy-to-follow routines that encouraged stretching, balance, spatial awareness, and basic rhythm.

As the weeks went by, we were heartened to see the YAA! members grow more confident and engaged. Every small step was celebrated, and every effort was met with encouragement.

To end the programme on a festive note, our final session featured a Christmas-themed movement song, bringing smiles all around. Participants swayed, followed actions, clapped to the beat, and enjoyed the cheerful music, turning the last class into a heartwarming celebration of joy, togetherness, and accomplishment.

We are incredibly proud of the youths from YAA! and grateful for the opportunity to journey with them this term. Their enthusiasm and willingness to try made every session meaningful.

We look forward to continuing our partnership with Rainbow Centre and creating more accessible, confidence-building movement experiences for their young adults.
